    The only American built roaster!

Comes with a one year warranty
-- Distributed and warranted directly by a major appliance manufacturer, Nesco of Two Rivers, Wisconsin.
-- A recommended roaster for those with inadequate ventilation, or are sensitive to smoke.

Great roaster for those with smoke issues. The Nesco Pro roaster has a catalytic converter/ceramic filter to reduce the smell and smoke that come from roasting. Nesco's Patented Catalytic Converter is the beginning of a new era in coffee history and a major step in the return of great tasting coffee to your home.

A very easy to use roaster, comes with a great guide.

    How this coffee roaster works:
Start by filling the roaster to the upper fill line. Make sure the back seal is connected to the top and not the tower, and that the top is well seated. Set the timer for 20 minutes the first time. Add more time and /or reduce the amount of coffee to the lower fill line if necessary for a darker roast. Keep the screen in the top clean. This roaster has a smoke reduction system and is definitely the choice for those who don't have adequate venting. Yields enough for 15-20 cups per batch.

Excellent for medium roasts, but roasts dark too. The Nesco Pro home coffee roaster delivers a full 4-5 oz (by weight) roast in about 20-24 minutes. Its smoke free design allows you to roast, with limited venting.

Excellent value for the new home roaster!

    Well Manufactured, Great Value, 12.9.2016

I bought 3 of these after reading about reliability issues with all coffee roasters in this price range. I believed the restaurant owners reviews most because she owned 5 of them and accepted that for ~$200 they would not be an industrial build quality. This is realistic. I've roasted about 10 batches and all 3 units work very well. One has a poorly fitting interlock switch on the lid and that unit was intermittent until I put a small spacer on the switch to keep it closed. The metal on these units is heavier than expected. The build quality is better than expected. I believe the manufacturer that the unit can be expected to fail if not allowed to cool between batches or if the screen is not cleaned. No one is getting rich off these but they are worth $178.

My intro machine to roasting, 5.8.2016

Back when I did some computer admin stuff, it wasn't unusual to be awake around 2am. I was really taken by an advertizement for a roaster that was called "Zack and Dani's" that was only shown late nights. Nesco purchased rights apparently and are making this roaster today. Old model served me well for 15 years - the new model definitely has some improvements that I like. Less smell in the house being the best one. The screen to collect chaff is easier to clean as it is removed each time, the old model has it attached with screws, making cleaning a tad difficult. I haven't owned any other roasters, so I can't offer a comparison - but I'm very very pleased, it delivers as dark a roast as I would ever want for a great price. Thanks very much to Burmans for the quick delivery!

    Just ordered #5, 4.9.2016

I cannot remember when I ordered the first of this roaster. I "roasted" the first roaster - stuck bean - after several years of use. Immediately (after clearing kitchen of smoke) ordered #2. For a reason never determined, #2 quit mid-roast but started again when prompted. So I ordered #3 as a precaution. #3, after several years of HEAVY use got a bean stuck. So a few weeks ago, I got #4. #2 just decided it had had enough and refused to start. So I just ordered #5. I am certain I will be roasting with these for many years. I own a B & B so am roasting the coffee of choice for guests regularly. Also, when I get requests for donations, I give 4 roasts of coffees - I often have 2 roasters going at a time. I LOVE this roaster.

Not ready to spend over $500 for gene roaster,so got this over a year ago.Use it a few times a month. i roast a few batches at a time.maybe 3 a day,on a Sunday. in summertime i have it by kitchen door, leave door open,in winter,i like the little heat/coffee smell.not smoking so its just coffee roasting smell.(let it rest couple of hours between batches),i put one cup green beans in it.fill it a little above full line(about 1/2 to 3/4 inch).put max 30 min.and roast. it comes out a nice full dark brown.when finished it expands to fill 2 inches above fill, and get a full roasted container.(use less beans for darker roast,or decrease time for lighter roast) use washed process beans(less chaff).take out container with roasted beans, let it cool, use dyson hand vac to quickly suck up loose chaff under roasting container.use two plastic spaghetti strainers on large pizza type tray to catch few beans falling through strainer. by the sink, pour beans back/forth a few times to get rid of left over chaff. then put in container to let it rest for next day..so far work perfect every time.look at beans last 6 min as roasting to adjust time, either stop cycle(press cooling) or add min or two,but usually 30 min,filled(1/2 inch above fill) work just great.

A nice smoke free roaster, 10.25.2015

I purchased this roaster 07/15 and have roasted 14 roasts to date. I find for myself a 21" roast works for me, but each bean will roast a little differently. Haven't had any problems that i've heard others have had. I believe the secret is keeping the screen and the rest of the machine totally clean. I place the machine on a hard surface so air will circulate under and around the machine minimizing internal heat buildup.
